Coconut milk can be a laxative for some people. You may want to try almond milk instead.
edit:
You can find almond milk in most grocery stores, next to the soy milk. -
Well I’ve never tried it, but it doesn’t sound too bad to me. And since you didn’t mention almond milk, I would definitely recommend that as an alternative in case the coconut milk doesn’t work out. Or you could try rice milk as well, you can get both of these at any store where they sell soy milk, I think. It should be around the same section.

Coconut milk is closer to water than milk so I don’t think it would taste very good.

Almond & nut milk. You can buy it in organic stores or make it yourself. Google some recipes.
& you know which one I love? rice milk. Absolutely delicious and refreshing. My mom doesn’t buy as often because it’s much more expensive but it’s a treat for me when she does. -
coconut milk is very watery and not creamy. It has the consistency of 2 teaspoons of 1% milk in a 1/2 cup of water. I really wouldn’t try it in coffee or tea. I doubt it would make it taste awful, but it wouldn’t ahve the desired effect. Ive never tried Almond milk, but I think it would be better.
You could also try Creamer powders?
