Yes, of course Chinese tea bags exist.
You can probably get them at a Chinese restaurant, or maybe a Japanese store, they have Japanese green tea as well. They do use tea bags, it’s more convenient.
Well the next time you go overseas you should go to Asia where you can get a whole stack! I’m sorry I can’t help more, I’m living in Asia where tea bags are in abundance while you are probably living in the US or UK. -
Almost every major city, and even many minor ones, have stores that cater to ethnic food needs/wants. I suggest you pick up your local phonebook and start looking. it will be under Specialty items/specialty foods, sometimes they even fall under grocery stores… A really REALLy good one and available almost anywhere is Celestial seasonings emperors choice, you can buy it here, or just google it.

In my local grocer the chinese food section carries “Chinese restaurant tea”. If you don’t have that, I have found that Twinings China Oolong tea is identical to what you get served in a restaurant. Tastes better when you brew it by the pot in a small metal teapot.

Go to a chinese supermarket. They’ll sell it there, dirt cheap. You’re looking for Jasmine, Green (either gunpowder or longjin), Puh’Er or Oolong probably. You should be able to buy all of these online also. Don’t buy it from anywhere trying to sell you more than £1-2 for a few ounces. I buy a good jasmine blend from a nearby chinese supermarket at 95p for 4oz, and gunpowder at £1.80 for 8oz. If you want any more suggestions, email me at yahoo. I have a love of tea… (cos I’m so cool)

A box of tea herbs from a chinese supermarket. They don’t come in bags. You need a special teapot to filter out all the stuff.
